Changes at Novo Nordisk, Questcor, Nicox and more in this week's column.
Eddie Williams has been appointed senior VP of biopharmaceuticals at Danish firm Novo Nordisk.
Williams has worked for more than 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry. His most recent role was VP of sales for respiratory & dermatology products at Novartis. Before that, he was VP of sales at Pharmacia.
Novo Nordisk president Jesper Hoiland said Williams would work on expanding the company’s biologics pipeline, especially in the US. The company is currently collaborating with Roche on a pre-filled insulin pump.
