Rx-360 expects membership numbers to “snowball” in the coming year as it looks to build on progress made in establishing the consortium.
Since forming supply chain consortium Rx-360 has worked to set up a quality management system that allows it to perform audits. Also, it has opened dialogue with regulators, such as the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), who have been very supportive of the consortium.
Having taken these steps Lynne Byers, incoming chair of Rx-360, told in-PharmaTechnologist she expects membership numbers to “snowball”. Currently Rx-360 lists 22 pharma and 18 suppliers as members but expects this to increase as it prioritises growing the consortium.
Rx-360 is also looking to grow its audit database and is aiming to add 1,000 a year.
