Last year Lilly began funding collaborative research into the use of Starpharma’s dendrimer drug delivery technology with its portfolio of compounds. Close to two years later the partners have expanded the deal to prepare for development projects entering the clinic.

Several projects to deliver small molecules and protein-based drugs are underway but further details are being kept private for now.
