Gattefossé lipidic excipients have been developed to improve the performance of final dosage forms, in particular, for difficult to formulate actives. Gattefossé functional excipients are applied to improve API solubility, bioavailability and to modify drug release.
Lipidic formulations offer distinct advantages over other methods of improving drug / formulation performance including certain physicochemical modifications of API (prodrug development, nanomilling etc).

Technical Support Through our Applications Laboratory and Customer Services division we provide extensive support to our customers. We can provide 'proof of concept' formulations for novel formulations, including powders, granules, tablets, capsules, ointments, emulsions, microemulsions and suppositories. Our technical support not only covers excipient and formulation expertise but we also offer extensive regulatory advice about the use of our products in final dosage forms.
