Palatinit GmbH
Based in Mannheim, Germany, Palatinit GmbH is one of the fastest growing members of the SüDZUCKER Group - the world's largest sugar producer. The company has a global presence with subsidiaries in the USA and Singapore, as well as 45 sales agencies in various countries.
Palatinit GmbH manufactures the internationally approved products ISOMALT, Palatinose™ and galenIQ™, all of which are derived from pure beet sugar. Each product is characterised by its tooth friendliness, low glycemic response and a mild, sugar-like sweetness. Moreover, the sugar replacer ISOMALT and the excipient galenIQ™ contain only half the calories of sugar.
The new multifunctional sugarfree excipient galenIQ™ is exclusively made from hydrogenated isomaltulose (HI), which is derived from sucrose. galenIQ™ is very low hygroscopic and shows an excellent stability against chemical changes. It does not raise blood glucose and insulin levels, is scientifically proven toothfriendly, non-animal origin and GMO-free.
Direct compressible grades like galenIQ™ 720 and 721 provide excellent compactability. In addition galenIQ™ comes in different grades for other solid dosage forms like pellets, granules, high boiled lozenges etc.
Palatinit is a member of IPEC and will produce galenIQ™ under GMP conditions for pharmaceutical excipients.
