Azelis Pharma has launched Syral starch-derived oral excipients in the UK.
Introduction of the products expands the portfolio of excipients marketed by Azelis in the UK. Most of the excipients meet European and US pharma monographs.
The new additions include liquid and powder forms of sorbitol and maltitol, maize starch, dextrose monohydrate, maltodextrins, dextrose anhydrous, and glucose syrup.
These excipients can be used in capsules, tablets, suspensions, and syrups. Trevor Bridger, regional business manager for Azelis Pharma, said the new products, combined with its specialty flavours, sweeteners and other oral excipients, position it to serve the UK pharma market.
