Sample management group BioStorage Technologies plans to expand its operations in Frankfurt, Germany with addition of 1,499sqm of biorepository storage space.
The expansion is part of BioStorages’ growth strategy and, according to CEO F John Mills, fits with increasing European demand for storage, logistics and supply chain management services.
"We are pleased to see such rapid global growth since opening our initial Germany-based facility in 2007," explained Mills, adding that “Frankfurt has been an ideal location for us to create additional alliances and partnerships with companies conducting pharmaceutical R&D”
The move follows BioStorages’ announcement that it will create 125 jobs in the US by expanding its global HQ in Indianapolis to include an additional 40,000 square foot cold-storage facility.
