Drug CEOs hope to kickstart economy at April summit

CEOs from Pfizer, GSK and Abbott Laboratories are among those who will meet in to discuss the new business practices that must be put in place to adapt to the challenging economic climate.

 

Attendees at the Next Generation Pharmaceuticals Summit, which will take place near Lake Geneva, Switzerland in April, will discuss new approaches to manufacturing, supply chain management, lead generation, process and packaging and anti-counterfeiting.

 

The meeting, which is being attended by European Union officials and government ministers, will also look at ways the drug industry can help kick-start the global economy.
