Eisai’s UK investment to create 300 UK jobs

Eisai says that its £60m expansion of its R&D facility in Hatfield in the UK will create 300 new jobs, swelling its workforce to 500.

 

 

The 7,000 square foot facility will serve the firm’s clinical R&D, production and sales operations as part of the Japanese drugmakers efforts to consolidate its European operations.

 

In a press statement Eisai said that it considers the local scientific expertise and experience as key to its expansion plans in European drug market.
