Kazakhstan and India have consolidated their strategic partnership and emphasised the pharmaceutical sector. In a statement Kazakhstan said it welcomed joint ventures “for production of high quality pharmaceutical drugs”.
Continued interaction “in healthcare and medicine, science and technology, including nano, bio and innovative technologies” is also encouraged by the joint statement.
Logistics infrastructure must improve to support cooperation. The statement noted “the importance of identifying secure and cost-effective transport connectivity between the two countries, including for transportation of cargo with the participation of transit countries”.
