Bolidt Synthetic Products and Systems of the Netherlands has launched a new synthetic flooring finish designed specifically to cope with aggressive chemical and pharmaceutical production environments.

Bolidtop 20626 is a synthetic flooring finish, which is extremely resistant to chemicals and has already been used in Shanghai Municipal Centre for Disease Control & Prevention laboratory project in China. The company said it is now promoting the flooring to companies in the pharmaceutical and chemical sectors.

The finish withstands organic solvents (acetone, MEK, tetrahydrofuran, chloroform) and inorganic acids (such as hydrochloric acid, sulphuric acid, nitric acid), as well as sodium hydroxide.

Bolidtop 20626 is also available in an electrically conductive version and can be applied to cement surfaces and concrete. It is seamless, impermeable to fluids, easy to clean, wear-resistant and is available in NCS and RAL colours, said the company.
