Hameln Pharma has been granted a manufacturing license for its brand new sterile manufacturing plant, the result of a €35m investment programme which has almost doubled the contract manufacturer’s capacity.
The new plant has 4,000 sq. m. of cleanroom space, and uses a novel colour-coding approach to reinforce good employee practices. The four levels of cleanroom class are decorated according to a colour scheme which identifies the appropriate level of clothing and codes of conduct. The lighter the colour, the cleaner the area.
