Singapore-based Industrial cleanroom and containment specialist Esco Micro has rolled out the latest generation of its Pharmacon Downflow booths for pharmaceutical sampling, grinding, dispensing and filling operations.

The new units are 1.5m wide but thanks to their unique modular design can be extended in half metre increments, depending on the sampling application for which they are being used.

The booths also feature single, double or triple stage high efficiency particulate absorbing (HEPA) or ultra-low penetration air (ULPA) filtration systems that comply with ISPE good practice guidelines.

Esco vice president Xq Lin, said that the booths will “expand Esco's market reach into the cosmetics, fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals and other industries, where safety is paramount.”
