The probe, called Humicap HMP110, covers the full humidity range at temperatures from -40ºC to 80ºC and is designed to be small, compact and easy to install, maintain and change.
Vaisala also highlighted the replacement service it has implemented. Customers order a new calibrated probe from Vaisala and this is shipped from a service centre in Finland, US, Japan or China in exchange for the old device.
Each probe is individually calibrated and comes with a certificate traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), according to Vaisala.
