Ceco Environmental has launched a product capable of destroying volatile organic compounds (VOC) and removing nitrous oxides (NOx) from airstreams.

The product, R-Series, is a rotary device that can function as a regenerative thermal oxidiser (RTO), a regenerative catalytic oxidiser (RCO) or a thermally efficient selective catalytic reduction (TESCR) system.

In a pharmaceutical environment the oxidisers can be used to destroy VOCs and the selective catalytic reduction system removes NOx from airstreams.

Jeff Lang, CEO of Ceco, said the R-Series is a cost-effective alternative to single housing valve RTO/RCO systems. “The new product has already generated significant interest”, added Lang.
