The UK-based company, which provides analytical and diagnostic technologies and services to the pharmaceutical and animal healthcare sectors, has sold its Optim candidate identification platform to an unidentified US drug firm.
The Optim system can, according to Avactia, identify those candidates most suitable for development and to define the optimal processing conditions, which it said saves drugmakers time and money.
CEO Alastair Smith, Chief Executive of Avacta Group said that: “Today's order means we have already met the target of twelve Optim sales in the current year.
