Sunnex has launched a new range of stainless steel machinery mounts for pharma manufacturing equipment that are said to cut particle emissions.

The hygienic levelling mounts have just been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and features include high chemical resistance, a wide temperature range and thread casing that eliminates contamination, the company claims.

In addition, the H3A-Series machinery mounts have rubber vulcanised to the mount housing to provide a completely hygienic seal, according to Sunnex.

Furthermore, the Massachusetts-based firm said that the full range of motion starting at a 10-degree pivot provides secure footing and complete vibration control.

The new equipment is aimed at improving drug processing and packaging machinery used by drug makers and are ideal for use in cleanroom environments, where particles must be kept to an absolute minimum.

Available in two versions, the H3A-Series comes with or without thread casings to eliminate contamination.

The mounts are also available with a different stainless steel - ANSI 316 - for aggressively corrosive environments, and with one or two anchoring holes that secure to the floor.

Sunnex is a global manufacturer of precision levelling, noise control, isolation and anti vibration mounts, feet and pads for manufacturing equipment and production machinery in the pharmaceutical industry.
