Romaco says that the DinexLab is intended for the manufacture of a wide range of semi-solid products such as suspensions, emulsions and gels, and incorporates features that contribute to short batch times, repeatable high product quality and high containment.

In particular the system is suitable for complex formulations, according to the firm, as it offers an advanced homogenisation system that gives flexibility in matching the process cycle to the individual requirements of the product.

"The introduction of the DinexLab means that this technology is now available at laboratory scale (batch size 4-12 litres), for development and scale-up applications," said Romaco in a statement.
