Under the deal, HollisterStier will produce PM101 registration material for clinical trials and is supporting Prism's filing of a new drug application (NDA).
"HollisterStier is pleased to partner with Prism Pharmaceuticals on the development of this cardiovascular drug," said HollisterStier CEO Anthony Bonanzino.
"HollisterStier's history of providing high quality service to our clients inevitably allows us to lower the development risk for companies like Prism.
"We provide a multifunctional team dedicated to solving their project goals quickly, which enables Prism to reduce the time to market."
HollisterStier specialises in high quality sterile injectable products for the global pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical markets and PM101 will be filled into vials and syringes.
The manufacturing will take place at HollisterStier's 115,000 square feet facility in Spokane, Washington."We are pleased to be working with such an experienced contract manufacturer on our initial product development program," said Kathleen DeLawrence, vice president of Prism.
"The team that HollisterStier has assembled to support our program is very experienced and committed to meeting our expectations for speed and excellence in execution."
HollisterStier says it has an extensive background in fill/finish, lyophilization and small lot manufacturing.
Last month the company splashed out $30m (€24.7m) in hiring more staff and upping capacity as its services become more popular - in February it stroke a deal with Roxro Pharma to fill vials of ROX-888, Roxro's pain-management drug set to be filed for approval with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
