PrePak buys TestPak for US capacity

US pharmaceutical packaging firm PrePak has bought US counterpart TestPak to add back-up manufacturing capacity.

New Jersey-based contract packaging maker and supply chain specialist TestPak operates a 90,000sqft, US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved facility in Whippany that specialises in handling solid-dose drugs.

Recently appointed PrePak ideal CEO Renard Jackson said the deal “opens up significant new market opportunities” adding that TestPak’s plant “not only create redundancy and backup services with our customer base, but also bring new innovations and capabilities to the whole organization.”

The TestPak joins existing PrePack subsidiaries, Celeste Contract Manufacturing and Packaging and Integrated Pharmaceutical Packaging.;
