Swiss Polytype Converting says it has completed the installation of one of its bespoke coating and lacquering systems at facilities owned by Austrian pharmaceutical foils specialist Constantia Patz.
Polytype's machine, which is housed in clean room space at Constantia’s manufacturing plant in Loipersbach, Austria consists of four fully-automated winders, three coating heads and a corona treater.
Constantia Patz, part of the Constantia Flexibles group, makes aluminium foils and laminates for the drug industry.
