The syringes, which combine a glass cartridge and a unique fully passive plastic syringe deployment system, are intended to reduce the likelihood of needle-stick injuries.
Under the deal Belgium-based Helvoet will be responsible for the design and production of the glass cartridge which, according to MedPro CEO Craig Turner, will accelerate time to market.
Turner also suggested that: “[Helvoet’s] relationships with 19 of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies and with other leading system component providers," will provide additional marketing benefits.
