GE Healthcare has launched a liquid chromatography system, ÄKTAready, for process scale-up and production of drugs from Phase I through to commercial scale.
The production is to good laboratory practice (GLP) and current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) standards and offers reduced downtime between products and batches, according to GE. In addition the company claims that cost efficiency and productivity are improved.
