The latest version has a new process development console and GUI enhancements that are intended to simplify batch modelling processes, which Aspen believes will ensure efficient and error-free transfer from lab scale up to commercial manufacturing.
In addition Aspen claims the software’s improved solubility and reaction modelling, and the integration with batch distillation, will help accelerate process development.
