The EasyTRA platform, launched by Jansen in April, is designed to allow drug and chemical firms to model the threat posed by chemicals to manufacturers, consumers and the environment using ECETOC and EUSES formulas.
Now, though the new functionality, users have the option to automatically generate the extended safety data sheet (eSDS) required under the REACH regulations which offers a number of potential advantages according to company CEO Matthias Jansen.
He told in-Pharmatechnolgist that: “Entering AISE scenarios using manual copy and paste would waste a lot of time. With EasyTRA you can import these within only seconds,” adding that “without overestimation, I would say that it could be 100 times faster compared to other tools.”
