Four US contract pharma packagers merge
Four US packaging firms have merged to form Aphena Pharma Solutions in a bid to create a single-source offering.
The new entity combines liquid and topical products specialist Celeste Contract Packaging and solid dosage focused PrePack Systems, TestPack and Integrated Pharmaceutical Packaging.

Aphena, which is headquartered at PrePack’s former base in Cookeville, Tenessee, has a chain of five facilities in Franklin and Glasgow in Kentucky, Whippany, New Jersey and Easton, Maryland.
