American Regent is recalling three lots of cyanocobalamin injection, USP after finding cracks in the bottom and sides of vials.
Cracks were only found in one lot but the other two were manufactured using the same vials. As a precautionary measure American Regent is recalling all three lots nationwide to the retail level.
Since 2010 American Regent has recalled multiple products after finding particles in vials, declining potency throughout shelf-life, and now cracks in glass packaging. American Regent said it is looking into the cracked vials.
